Totally Kids Academy is family-owned and operated right here in Forney, TX. Since our company opened its doors in 2004, we’ve treated every child & parent like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.
On October 25, 2011, Lisa Carlson received the CDA (Child Development Associate) from Washington, DC. and earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education on December 18, 2015. We have a lot of fun here and we make sure you’ll have a great time, too. We do our best to keep our event costs down.
Totally Kids Academy believes in hands on play-imagination and limited structured play. Hands on play has so many developmental advantages which help in all areas of growth.
Totally Kids Academy is a Texas Rising Star facility.
Lisa belongs to several Professional Organizations which include:
- NAYCE – (National Association for the Education of Young Children)
- TAYCE – (Texas Association for the Education of Young Children)
- DAEYC – (Dallas Association for the Education of Young Children)
- Southern Early Childhood Association
- National Family Child Care Association
- Mesquite Home Child Care Association

Lisa also served 10 years on the Board of Texas Professional Home ChildCare Associaton.
